Its been said that one of the most noble things a person can do is share the successes and blessings they have received with others. It is with this spirit that, on every engagement, JC Hannah will donate 5% of the gross fee that we receive to one or more of the following charities. And you, our client can specify exactly how this 5% is distributed by selecting the organization(s) that speak to you. It’s simple, and it’s all explained right in our letter of engagement at the time we submit our proposal. All of the charities below are highly-rated on Charity Navigator, with no less that 80% of each dollar they receive going directly to support the programs they offer to those benefiting from their services.

The mission of Doctors Without Borders is to bring medical humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, natural and human-made disasters, and healthcare exclusion. They currently operate in more than 70 countries. Many of the volunteers are certified doctors and other medical professionals who leave from comfortable circumstances to front line situations where they can help the people who need it most. Representing America’s largest food bank in distribution, the Houston Food Bank provides hunger relief in 18 southeast Texas counties, distributing fresh produce, meat, and nonperishables. They also prepare nutritious hot meals for kids in their state-of-the-art kitchen. Last year the Houston Food Bank made over 150,000,000 meals possible for families in southeast Texas. Baseball fans may remember The Sunshine Kids as longtime Astro Craig Biggio’s favorite charity, often playing with the iconic Sunshine Kids Pin on his cap during games. The Sunshine Kids Foundation provides exciting, positive group activities and opportunities for children who are going through the long and often lonely journey of cancer treatment, completely free of charge to the children and their families. The Coastal Conservation Association is a non-profit marine conservation organization, comprised of 17 coastal state chapters spanning the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic seaboard, and the Pacific Northwest. Born in 1977 after drastic commercial overfishing along the Texas coast resulted in the decimation of certain fish populations, today the CCA is engaged in a wide range of studies and programs related to reef development, water contamination, hydrology and freshwater inflows, and hatcheries, just to name a few.
